Philosophy

Overview & Highlights: 

Philosophy is defined as the pursuit of wisdom through logical investigations of reality, knowledge and morality. The study of philosophy is commonly understood to be a critical element of a liberal arts education, helping students develop the skills necessary to articulate self-reflection and analysis.

What can I do with this degree? (Our Graduates): 

Philosophy is cross-disciplinary in scope, drawing upon faculty and courses in all schools of the university. Graduates with a bachelor's degree in philosophy are prepared for careers in data management and analysis, writing, ministry and graduate study in theology, philosophy and religious studies.
